reading this page, quite frankly if you guys are into "graphics" thats your deal i am into fun factor, challenge, non-linear story lines, and gameplay. All else, graphics are the least of my worries/care. Hell i though Rez was very fun and it was justa game with a bunch of lines.

Console rpgs just...don't seem to cut it for me, they get boring and repetitive imo, that's why I play mmorpgs. No, maybe they're diff than most rpg's, I dunno. But other than final fantasy most non mmorpg rpg's bore me.

So I decided to take a trip out to the store today jusy because I was bored. I walked around for a bit when this kid playing a game caught my eye. I could believe how good the graphics were to the game he was playing so I had to see what system it was that he was playing on. It turned out that it was the xbox 360. Holy crap that thing was awesome the graphic are pretty much dvd quality. Me being a tard with the xbox controller it was a bit harder because all the controls were "regular" which means that the controls were completely backwards ps2. The game I was playing was battlefield something or another, a pretty good game from the demo that I played. The price tag they had on it was 400 which isn't bad because I've seen it for 700+ on ebay. So if you are interested in it you should go to your local target, it should have one. Me personally I think I'm going to have to wait and get ps3, but don't get me wrong the new xbox is yummy

the graphics are simply finally close to computer quality... which is good

I'm pretty sure every target/best buy etc... is sold out for the first few shipments... hence why they go for $700 on ebay. Good PCs have had those caliber graphics for awhile now aswell, to build one from scratch would be alot more money than $400 though. Consoles go obsolete too quick IMO, I would never buy one.

I built a computer with that kind of graphics for $400 including everything from case to soundcard to monitor

Geforce 6600GT

Corsiar PC3200 1gb etc etc
