xbox 360

I too agree with computers always being ahead on the games but the thing that I hate about gaming on my computer is the problems it causes. Slows it down, you can't really do anything else while playing a game and it can also lead to your computer crashing. Even the fastest computers sometimes have a problem with new games, because of play time verse load speed. But both have their advantages and disadvantages
yep, but i still like the gameplay with computer soooo much better, mouse and keyboard, also i hate how ever new console games go up too, ps1- 39.99, ps2 - 49.99, xbox360/ps3 already 59.99, im sure computer games will follow too:mad:

places like best buy, target, walmart CANNOT reserve stuff. THEY WILL have xbox 360's and ps3's- when they come out. Like i said, only places that CAN reserve consoles would be the shops around you that specialize in gaming. fyi
wont matter, you will still have to EXTREMELY lucky to ge tone within the first few shipment... meaning camping outside when the shipments come in.

Trust me, I'd love to be able to game on my pc a lot more. But it is a lot more costly. It would cost ~1k to build a decent system from scratch (which I would need to do now). And even then, you would still need to upgrade the video card every few years to keep up with technology.

And I agree, PC games look one hell of a lot nicer than console games. I just feel that console gaming is cheaper in the end.

for a decent game system, 512 ram, 2 ghz cpu and up, 6600GT , 250 gb HD, think around 600 if you have a monitor and OS already

Rumors are you wont be able to buy one if you didnt reserve it until next April.

IMO, games on computers are only good for the first person shooters and racing games and a couple others.

but on the other hand i could never play any sports game or fighters on a computer even if i had a controller connected to it. i think it just more fun sitting on a sofa and playing on a tv rather than sitting up close to a computer screen.

i am aware that you can connect computers to a tv via the right cables but to how far must you go to replicate the experience you have playing on a console.

consoles take the cake for sports games not only cuz its easier to control with the supplied controller(without spending extra on a controller or having to configure it like on a comp) but its better for versus modes as well.

what are you all talking about with the graphics not being able to keep up with a computer? from my understanding, the video card for 360 is far beyond anything developed for the pc??

says that the video card is on par with the new ones ATI havent even released yet
Well seeing as though it IS basically a stripped down gaming computer, graphics will likely be on par with most PC games for maybe 6 months before the gap widens again. Thats how its been in the past atleast.

yep, thats the only time I use consoles, sports games with friends. Other than that its limited FPS on the comp when I wanna shoot shit, I dont game often at all though.
