If you have a TV capable of 1080p resolution, it's a no brainer. The PS3 is for you.
If you don't? Then save little cash and buy a 360.

360's are now 1080P compatible, microsoft live just sent out a huge update for the 360.

hey right now i have a x-box. i want to finally upgrade. should i get the x-box 360 or wait for the ps3. i heard the ps3 will be like a couple of hundred dollars more. is it worth the price?

will most of my games transfer to the x-box 360?

over 200 games are backwards compatible, if you have xbox live, its a simple matter of putting your game in and it will automaticly d/l what is needed

there's well over 100 games that you can play on the 360 from the xbox (including halo 1 and 2) but you have to download a patch and burn to a cd in order for it to work. my friend tried playing san andreas on a 360 and it'd freeze up 30 minutes after playing it. you can go to the xbox website and search there for it. it's free to download. but you might wanna check the list first to see if the games you like can be played or not cuz a majority isn't playable on the 360 from xbox. that's why i still have both (plus my regular xbox was a birthday gift from my parents..sentimental value).

and sony's gonna fuck up the ps3 just like they did with the first batch of the ps2s. and the fact there's a $500 and $600 version.

its actually over 200(and the patch is easily available via xbox live)

i baught my first xbox less than a year ago, so i got alot of playin to do untill the ps3's price drops a bit. the 360 looks okay, but i cant see the graphics diff between the two. ma eyes are bad.

Just wait till they tap into the power of the PS3, then we'll see the better console. But as for launch I wouldn't get either, wait for PS3 price to drop then grab one. Seen 3 of my friends sell there 360's on eBay after they bought them because it was useless. They put the money they earned to the PS3.

both hd-dvd and blur ray are 1080p

hd-dvd has an average of better picture quality with their movies so much you can buy pretty much any movie and it will look dam good

blur ray you got to wait for reviews

hd-dvd is outselling blue ray by 3 to 1 and more their was rumors of it being 16 to 1 but theirs where from small stores

hd-dvd has more movies out then blue ray

hd-dvd costs half as much for a stand alone player

i was on the blue ray bandwagon for about a month bought a player returned it 2 weeks later.

360 ftw man..and they are comming out with a adapter to play hd dvd's very soon for only $200 i hear..plus sony sucks ***..and by the time you buy the ps3 with 2 controllers and a few games your gona be at $800 minimum..with that kind of money you can get the xbox 360 with 1 controller for $300,the $200 hd dvd add on,and 6 games...
