x-box 360 or ps3

hey right now i have a x-box. i want to finally upgrade. should i get the x-box 360 or wait for the ps3. i heard the ps3 will be like a couple of hundred dollars more. is it worth the price?

xbox 360 due to the availabilty. If you wanted a ps3 you shoulda got in on a pre-order. Gonna be uber rare to get one most likely until 07.

X2, Plus the X-box 360 still suits my fancy. I probably wont have a PS3 for a long time.

I dont know as I never had a regular x-box. I was always a Sony gamer and I know you can transfer those games.....well from PS1 to PS2 anyway. Might want to ask Mikeoftulsa, he is pretty big on x-box gaming. I just bought the 360 for a select few games.

i had both the ps2 and the xbox at the same time. I sold my ps2 due to the lack of games I liked on that platform. I still have my xbox, and is running strong. It was made on 12-5-02, which means it has the fire protection cord due to internal shorting problems with these models. I played the xbox hardcore on live with

nfsu2 and halo 2. Still performs as new. If I could benefit from having a 360, I would buy one. Due to me working 60-70 hours a week on a night shift, and no HDTV, my regular xbox suits me just fine.

there's well over 100 games that you can play on the 360 from the xbox (including halo 1 and 2) but you have to download a patch and burn to a cd in order for it to work. my friend tried playing san andreas on a 360 and it'd freeze up 30 minutes after playing it.

you can go to the xbox website and search there for it. it's free to download. but you might wanna check the list first to see if the games you like can be played or not cuz a majority isn't playable on the 360 from xbox. that's why i still have both (plus my regular xbox was a birthday gift from my parents..sentimental value).

and sony's gonna fuck up the ps3 just like they did with the first batch of the ps2s. and the fact there's a $500 and $600 version.

i baught my first xbox less than a year ago, so i got alot of playin to do untill the ps3's price drops a bit. the 360 looks okay, but i cant see the graphics diff between the two. ma eyes are bad.

i say go for the ps3 but its going to be a ***** to get one unless you get it off ebay where the price triples

you have to go to microsoft and search backwards capability and download the patch and update your 360. you can also do this through xbox live. so far i haven't any problems playing regular xbox games. also you need the premium system to play xbox games, not the core

If you have a TV capable of 1080p resolution, it's a no brainer. The PS3 is for you.

If you don't? Then save little cash and buy a 360.
