I swear, i have the worst luck when it comes to my equipment. first, i thought that my left-front comp was cutting out due to a bad pre-out (actually i determined it not to be the amp or rcas), so i get my new HU in, and it still does it! WTF! and now, like i posted in a previous thread, i got unwanted noise coming from my sub. its been getting progressively worse over time. i havent checked the rcas yet, but i hope its that. next, a couple days ago, i noticed that when i make left turns the bass hits harder. wtf is that about? and lastly, today i noticed a loud rattle when bass hits. i havent determined where its coming from yet. probably the rear hatch wiondow or maybe the box. and ill be pissed as hell if its the box cause i spent a lot of time building that POS. WTF!!?? ****ing shit! any1 wanna throw me some ****ing suggestions?

For rattles...sound deaden the entire vehicle....But you know that...For as many issues as you have I would trouble shot the entire vehicle ONE piece at a time until you locate what is going wrong...Be methodic and patient...it will turn up

How about.. Replace the least expensive parts first? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

You probably have a loose wire >//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

When I had my solo it started making a rattling sound, more noticable at low volumes, but noticeable at all volumes. I took it out of the box and realized that the spider was beginning to tear but hadnt broken off yet and was causing the noise. I called Kicker and they replaced it. (it was the old model with the grey cone)

I would find what part of the vehicle is rattling and dynamat it and see if that works.

But as the previous person said, just take you tiem patients will dot he trick, and yes, replace the least expensive things first!

im pretty sure its the **** box thats rattleing. any1 got an idea on the comp cutting out? im clueless there. when i switch rca plugs at the amp, the problem moves over to the other comp. doesnt that mean that its not the amp thats doing it? ive replaced the rcas 3 times, so it cant be the rca's. so i thought it was the HU, but now ive replaced that and its still doing it. im so confizzled...
