wtf!?!?!?!?!?! h/u install problem

i just installed my 8445 into my 2000 tahoe

i have the remote wire hooked up to the remote wire running from my amps and the power antenna wires hooked up to each other

however when i try to play a cd all i get is my sub. when i play radio i get everything. is it just one of my remote wires messed up? but if the wire is f'ed why would it work on one and not the other.

You have a factory amplifier. Just disconnect the power antenna wire, and tie it into the head unit's remote output together with your amp wires.

yeah. your "power antenna wire" is actually the rem for the factory amp. hook your deck remote to that wire.

ive tried hooking up the wires opposite already

when i hook them up opposite from how i said in the op i get no sound at all on cd instead of only bass on cd, radio still works fine.

Use the blue w/ white wire for all amplifier turn ons including the ones in the factory harness, the plane blue wire will only provide 12v when the radio is selected
