cracks me up when people tell me about how loud their systems are.

I have aguy here at work that always talks about his systems. I avoid him every chance I get. All he wants to talk about is car audio and he is one of those I know everything cant tell me shit kind of people. I reall regret telling him that I used to do SPL comps because he wont shut up about how he had 4 15s sealed do 160s and how sealed is way louder then ported. Now that I do SQ he just doesnt grasp the concept. He told me that my system sounds about as good as his bose system in his escalade.

Now someone may ask why did I let him hear my system if I try to avoid him and well most of my tunning time I get is at work during breaks and lunch. I sit in my truck and do a little tunning. He happen to be outside and asked me wht I was doing. I even changed my lunch time to get away from him.

just looked at your cardomain page, kind of a bad ported design, you could be having a huge deadspot due to sub positioning which will effect the output. Maybe you're lucky though.
Should be a close competition assuming his box isnt complete garbage.

Why dont I just swing by Mazzasec's and buy both of those Fully loaded 18in BTLs and wall my truck out?

At a local comp a few years back a guy had that box in a POS escort and broke 140s not bad for 249 bucks

There is alot of factrs that can play different roles. I think it will just be based on who's is louder by ear since each of us doesnt have $600 to drop on a TL.

Oh yea, i was. lol. Im lookin at gettin a HC1800 for the front and a couple of xtra batts in the back and of course a biger amp and i aready have a roll of 0awg welding cable sittin in my basement.

x2 I used to run a garbage kenwood amp and 2 of the cheapest subs I could buy locally in a pre-fab. That set up got me a lot of local trophys and beat a lot of "expensive" builds.
