I had a small problem with mine at first, but it was my fault. I email Nate and he helped me fix it. After that I upgraded the wires under the hood and I have absolutly no problems.

i got a 2000 chevy silverado and the alt is right on top with nothing in its way...so im assuming its very easy to change....i dont know where to buy my alt now tho after hearing that excessive went downhill.
I'm guessing it has some type of spring loaded belt tensioner?Jntar you have a 2000+ chevy dont you, How difficult is it to change the Alt. Out on these trucks, I have an 04. Looks pretty straight forward to me, Im just not sure on how to loosen up the Belt.
