sounds like a 5 minute install, shouldn't drain the battery unless you keep them on

Extremely easy.

Although, I would wire a relay in line with the remote wire and power the neons that way...and still put a SPST switch inline. The relay just gives you piece of mind that you won't leave the switch open one night and end up with a dead battery.

all you need is a drill to make the hole for the switch, and to make the hole for the screws to hold the tube down, and wire cutters, and a screw driver

5 minute install, its pretty self-explainitory

also.. my friend has a switch with turnin his amp on and off...i was thinkin bout gettin one not sure tho... would that be the same way expect u wire into the remote wire right??

Yes. Sounds like he's wired up a "cop switch" so he can turn off the subwoofer amplifier with a flick of a switch //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

There are guides out there (http://www.the12volt.com has one, I believe) for wiring a standard Bosch-type relay to a remote turn on lead. It's pretty simple.

yerp, wire up to a switch and run a wire straight to the battery, with the wire being fused of course.
