wow i think nathan is losing it (excessive amperage)

well finally put my alt in today.....and the bastard doesn't charge...talked to another guy that has an escape and same alt...he had the same problem and had to send it back to nathan....wtf is up with this lately. im hearing lots of problems with excessive alts...no good.

mine worked for one day i have had to send it back to him three times now its starting to piss me off

mines a 250amp large case gm

for my 97 bonneville

i got it at the begining of the summer and have not even gotten to use it it just went back for the third time last week

You got to love Ebay h.o. alt's as well . Mine lasted a whole 2 weeks , fried an isolater and a fuel pump. It was putting out 17.5 volts . What a P.O.S

I had to send mine back to him 4 times, and he never did get it working properly. I ended up simply getting a refund. Nathan is a super nice guy, but I was really disappointed that the alternator never worked. I hope you have better luck.

P.S. My situation became quickly aggravating as well because the alternator is located near the base of the engine by the front passenger wheel.

Were any of these bought in the group buy, I heard there were a lot of mistakes in there... I have had my alt in for about a week from him, and thus far no problems.

same here. mine is at the bottom of the engine...by my passenger wheel. so i have to take off my whole driveaxle on the passenger side..its not a fun process. but meh. im gettin good at doin it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Honestly when i bought mine i didnt see that much of an upgrade.
