Mechanics help?

So my yukon is doing something interesting. It has front and rear air. The front driver's side air is blowing hot (2 vents), all the rest, front and back are blowing cold as they should. The only thing I did was disconnect the battery yesterday, and I can't imagine that has anything to do with it. Any idea what it might be?

do you have the driver side vent open (as in outdoor air comes in from those vents?) if so you have to close it...if not then play with the airflow switch...and see if it comes in...if not then you have a problem in which the ducts are getting blocked from getting the ac..

No all air is coming from inside. What do you mean by airflow switch? The air blows fine, it's just hot.

maybe a blend door or blend door actuator. i know my car has problems with that sometimes.

to switch it from floor to defrost to head to both floor and head...play with that....the door should start to work....

Air started cold, then went hot after 5 seconds. Then I tried this and it worked. Is this a temp fix or should it be fine?

might be that the actuator assembly is getting old and tired. i'd look to replace it if it keeps doing it.

could be a temp fix or could be fine...depends on what it was...hard to tell without being inside the car and pulling the dash off....
