No I would not..... Do you realize how much idol time that baby has on it. Sitting in the heat idling with the A/C on. That is about the worst thing you can do to a vehicle. If you were talking about a normal person owning it and only having 90k on it that would be one thing. But you are talking about an ex police cruiser. If they were not chasing bad guys, they were logging long hours just sitting in this thing idling...... I would give maybe $1000 if that. And just an fyi, Crown Vics are not notorious for getting loud.......My dad bought a 2006 Crown Vic Police Interceptor w/90k miles two years ago and now he doesn't want it anymore and wants to sell it, so I thought maybe it can be a cheap reliable car to beat around town in. It's bone stock but has the heavy duty police package, a 200 amp alternator, huge trunk and a steel cow catcher for those PIT maneuvers. I did some research and apparently the 2006+ Police Interceptors are the best ones made yet. After this it's all going to be based on the new Taurus.
Beside scaring the shit outta friends and never get anywhere on the road due to people driving really slow around you, would you rock that cop car for $3000?
Uh by the time you buy it, it will already be worn out anyways......i want one, but at the same time i dont. i dont want cops or anyone thinking im driving around pretending im a police officer because i have an interceptor.
not really. there's actually a lot of them for sale in really good condition. but like someone also said they have a lot of idle time. but then again, most of the miles on it are highway miles unless you get a city cop car. buying one is a 50/50.Uh by the time you buy it, it will already be worn out anyways......
