Speakers + HU will

Dump your amp choice, pyramid, legacy, marquant etc. all **** and are HEAVILY overrated, better buy a decent amp (why not a pioneer, they sound pretty okay) that has 5 channels, 4 for speakers and 1 for bass

I was feeling you until I saw Legacy and Pyramid.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif If you want a "bang for your buck" cheapy amp, get a Profile or a Lanzar. For a little more you can get a JBL and see what your system really sounds like. I would also scratch the Pioneer 6.5" three ways and get the 6.5" component set.

I think one JL Audio 12w0 would do very nicely in your system, and wouldn't break the bank either. Couple it with a JBL150.1 and your talking great bass for around $200 or less.

Pioneers a great name to stick with if you don't know your stuff. They give a great value in what they sell.

I also read somewehre that you shouldnt feed more watts to your speaker from you amp then what they can handle. Does this matter or what? if im over maximum wattage by about 30-50 will i blow anything up and if so will it be cool atleast?

I am thinking abou throwing in a

Pioneer ts-w384c 15" 700 watt or

Pioneer ts-w304c 12" 600 watt

that would leave me with free 500 watt channel for future use

both speakers will be in a ported box as i have the charts from pioneer and the ported looks promissing peaking 95+ db from 60 -100 herts closed about 5 db behind
