would this box go w/ a type r?

I have my type R in a 2.3 cu ft ported box I believe and it pounds!!

i have a single 10" type r in a seald .75cu ft enclosure and it hits low and loud.

i built that enclosure for a friend about 8 month ago, it hit the low with out bottoming out and it went pretty flat till 120Hz nice and loud. just had to play a little bit with the EQ to get it right, is not an spl system for sure, but for sq was great. and it got loud. he sold that system and is saving up for another one design and built by me. for a dual 12" type r set up. may be this time well go for an spl system.

why would you play a sub upto 120hz?

in a Pontiac fiero you can only fit so much so a .7cuft sealed 75% stuffed was the only way to go. it sounds good and yes its loud and pretty accurate.

that's usually my crossover point from subwoofer to midbass. it sounds good like that, so that's how i keep it. the sub does not seem to care and it plays it well.

thats well into the midbass range.

I'd love to hear what "loud and pretty accurate" sounds like to you... a sealed type R is very unsatisfying to me, in both SQ and SPL.
