would this box go w/ a type r?

i have a single 10" type r in a seald .75cu ft enclosure and it hits low and loud. cabin gain plays a big role on how the bass sounds and re-enforces the low end bass.

i would put it in a

3cu ft enclosure

tuned to 25Hz

F3=22Hz

w/slot port 12" x 3.5" x 54.50" long.

that will cover you whole subfreqs, tight and loud. the sub wont bottom out and you wont get port noise either.

i dont get how u tune something like that

if youre going to go with one of moe lestors plans which are pretty good, make sure you plot the specs of the enclosure and the sub youre going to be using, that way youll get an idea of how your sub is going to perform on that particular enclosure. using winISD to get the graph and see the sub performance may not be perfect but it will sure get you close and it will keep you from putting the sub in an enclosure that will allow your sub to over excurt or get port noise.
