I'd go with a 12" and stick with Kicker. I can't believe Sony would have a ZR series amp..Kinda makes me sick since I owned many Kicker ZR1000's and ZR600's. Disgrace to the ZR tag

Yes, yes, and a 12" will make you happier in the long run. It is the most common size.
