Whats up everyone this will be the first HU that i will be installing myself.
i purchased the Alpine D106. Does anyone here have experience with this unit.
What will i need to do the installation.
As of now i know i need a harness and a antenna adapter (will any brand do from any radio shop or does quality make a difference)
I understand a switch is needed so that a movie can be played while driving. Is this the only way to have that function?
For those of you who have this HU. Is a 6th gen ipod classic supported, will i be able to see the texts on my screen and will i be able to play movies from the Ipod, also does the cable already in the box to connect the ipod or do i need to buy that as well. Last thing after connecting the ipod do i need a adapter/unit so that my steering wheel controls will still work.
