Was thinking if I run my front preouts to a 4channel amp that has a line out I could use that to signal channel 3-4?

Ill be getting a FRS Alpine soon.

I know I wont have FR fade but Ill still have LR?

Do I need 2 sets plugged in the input to use the line out?

I would say as long as the 4 speakers are identical and for either mid or high, not both. For instance, if you want to use 2 channels for running 4 drivers, make sure you want them to operate in the same frequency range, i.e. door speakers. But be carful of imedance levels. Running them parallel may cause damage to the amplifier. I would recommend a high output amplifier and run them series connected from the amp. I hope I am understanding this correctly on your part---running 2 outputs for 4 speakers through 4 channels.

Note: there is an RCA adapter that allow for single to double RCA input/output at Radioshack, I believe. This will work for yoru idea, if my understanding is correct.

I believe the adapter for the rcas to split is called a Y adapter, but the switch I am not sure of yet.

This may be able to help, Im not sure. But it seems as it has an input selector, which would likely be the switch you are referring to.

Hope this helps more.
