right now i have a Boston Acoustics GT40 amp on my highs. Front 2 channels at 2 ohms, rear at 4 ohms.

RMS Power @ 4 ohms 60 watts x 4 channels

RMS Power @ 2 ohms 100 watts x 4 channels

Bridged RMS Power 245 watts x 2 chan. @ 2 Ohms

have 2 sets of pioneer TS D1720C components up front (door and kick panel) getting about 60 rms each (give or take) and some infinity mids in rear getting about 60 rms.

Thinking about bridging my boston amp to my fronts to give each comp set about 125 rms, then buying a small 2 channel for my rears. (not ditching my rears!)

questions:

1) will those pioneers take double the power?

2) would it be worth the risk?
