Would RE-SE's be an upgrade over Type R's??

I have a single type r in my trunk now in a 2.5cu box tuned to 34hz and it slams pretty hard.. would i get more out of an RE-SE? pretty much what im asking is an RE-SE an all around better sub then a Type-R??

I had a friend switch from 12in type Rs to 12in SEs and seen a huge difference in sound quality they hit much lower and sounded way better

correct, and the SE will sound better. An AQ SDC2.5 might get a little louder than a Type R but prolly not much.

i could agree on sq...but yes id say r on output, i have over 2000 watts on my r and it takes it
