500 watt amp which I am not replacing and a 200 watt alpine amp will be powering my front speakers

I still don't understand how you have this many posts and ended up with a tiny MA audio sub in a prefab sealed box? Why not go the classifieds and get something worth your money. For the same price you prolly could have found a used type r or l5 that woulda gotten loud for that money

You should look into other brands of subs. I can't recall the last time I heard a good thing about MA audio. Always been mediocre. Take a look through the classifieds and you can get your hands on an SSD, BM, AQ...something of a higher caliber and a higher quality. Don't skimp on it, it will be well worth it.

I found these forums after I bought the sub which sucks

I am saving up for really nice fronts

Yeah but its only 300 watts RMS

the 15 is 500 and if my amp can power that why not?
