i notice ported boxes basically **** for tonality. pretty much one hit wonders, i want to hear every bass note in detail. still hit hard, but i dont want it to flutter out or sound like a fart box. im assuming going sealed would solve this problem. ive only had one sealed enclosure before, my two eclipse SW8102's, which ill most likely be using again with my new amp. both of them are in .5cuft each, and will be getting 500w a peice. so itll be decently loud. i never had it hooked up in my car, but i heard them in someones lexus before i bought them and they got loud, but i never paid attention to the bass detail.

my last setup was ported.. my next one will be sealed.. i figure it will space and even tho it might not put out as much... if you're running a big enough setup.. it shouldnt really matter as long as you're not entering contests. and odds are you will probaly have to turn the bass down still anyway.. in order to match your speakers

If this is the case, you need to hear more setups using ported enclosures and you should probably stop hanging around that ghetto shop/car dealership. Those guys obviously have no clue.

If my sub amp was working correctly, I would let you listen to my setup and I would love for you to tell me my ported enclosure is a one note wonder with horrible tonality.

In my room, all my speakers are ported and they all have excellent tonality.

dont be a dick about it. chill out. and that ghetto shop/dealership has nothing to do with it. its a business my friend started. its only been open for 6 months. so for the work they do, with only 3 employees, is great.

what truth? you tried correcting me by using improper grammer
Wrong, I tried correcting your shitty grammar quickly, and failed to catch all your horrible mistakes. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

As butchered as your posts are, you shouldn't be accusing others of having bad grammar.
