New sub question

I got my sub today but I won't have time to put the box in till this weekend so I'm planning on riding around with the sub playing free air at low volumes to break in

Would it be ok and is there anything I should be careful about playing it free air

yeah that it doesn't bounce around in the car....

don't give it much power and make sure it doesn't roll around and get damaged.

nope just don't give it a lot of power. be easy on it. you wanna break in the suspension, not bottom it out and rip it to shreds. thats really it. i do believe in break in but honestly i wouldn't play a speaker like that just to intentionally break it in. but it'll be fine.
