Some of the ones posted aren't that bad at all. The JBL truck is crazy. The pepsi truck seems to have some good work in it.
I wouldn't consider those types as 'dumb' at all, considering WHY they were built like that.

But, some of the other ones are pretty bad. I think James hit the nail on the head with the link to the install page here...

X2 the pepsi truck was built for promotional purposes and actually worked...it was also in a superbowl commercial 3-4 years ago with P Diddy LOL

wow that even sounds wierd...having a crown amp hung from chains.....wat was the owner dr. feelgood thinkin..its obvious he was goin for more show than safety....this setup should be at the top of the dumbest setup list....and have 8 10's for midbass in a clamshell lol i swear that setup is sig worthy of wat not to do in a setup...lol

but thats wat u get when u get ahold of equipment at a price u cant refuse and then u go apeshit with the install...carelessness at its best...and he calls himself a former champion....lol...he should know better.its clear someone else was building world class setups in his rides...it definitely wasnt him..cuz u see the results...and wats bad is...he put effort in to this....lmao

I didn't say that install was good.

I was just talking about the demo trucks (JBL, Pepsi). Didn't see anything with a chain, though.

Not all the ones posted here are that bad. The ones that are, they're obvious. But you have to keep in mind the purpose for some of them, and the pepsi & JBL trucks weren't bad at all.

theres a saying....spl is ugly.....what were c'ing is pure dumb shit....i just notice something...the amp is resting on the batteries....thats wat that casing is behind the amp...its 4 kinetik 2400's in that box casing and all that weight is suspended in air..and the trim case on the amp is cracking because of it...i seen it myself ...so when the amps falls...its landing on the batts risking some sort of sparks flying.....im still speachless...to think..when theres nothin else to talk about theres always new with that setup ...actually the back look like logos..boxes on top of boxes and in front....its just a mess...i cant even say fix ur wiring....cuz thats the least of his worries
