working out...

ive been looking at these BMI charts, i am 6 foot 250 pounds..according to that chart i am obese..to be healthy in that chart i would have to weigh 180pounds, to be over weight thats 200pounds...thats all fine and dandy but that chart doesnt take into consideration your muscle to weight ratio nor being big boned. at 6 foot 250 pounds my stomch is even with my chest cavity while standing, if i weight 180 pounds i would look like a friggen spoon!

 
you really have to have someone take your % body fat to know if you are really over weight or not. I'm 6' 1" and weigh 200 but have 13.5% body fat which is pretty healthy. average is 16-18%.

But I stopped drinking coke, eat healthy (most of the time) drink skim milk, water, protein shakes, take multi vitamins and work out 4 days a week and run about twice a week. I do abs every now and then but you have to have under 8% body fat to really see your abs, or so I've read I'm not sure if that's true or not.

 
I just play basketball and baseball for my exercise... I am underweight and tryin to bulk up tho.. I am 5'10" and only 135lbs... anyone got any tips to gain weight? I'm gonna get back into working out and maybe taking Creatine (if it works) and right now, I just eat lots of protein bars and good foods that I know of to bulk up.

 
I watch my diet, but I dont restrict it.. I've been working out four to five days a week for an hour to two hours then do cardio every other day.. Im probably

The key to loosing wait and getting cut is making a consistant effort to establish a pattern. Try going every monday/wendsday/sunday or what ever caters to your schedule.. force your self to go and after a few weeks it will eventually become a habbit. Also if you're looking to build muscle 100% Whey protein is your friend.. but protein farts reak...
