cdt's to me have one of the best sounding speakers, only thing ive heard close are boston z6s and diamond hexs

Someone must have done a LOT of T/A adjustments on your install. Not that I don't like it, though. I just don't see how it has correct (read that as 'good') imaging.

how can you possible have good imaging w/ that upstage kit. you have right and left channel material playing from the middle of your dash. if it was a center channel, then that's a different story. I guess it... might help for a 2-seater setup, but i'm all for a solid 1-seater setup.

sorry to burst your bubble, but nobody is getting in good with me. i respect JB's opinion, but i also trust the judgment of my boyfriend and his business partner. i sat in the truck during this whole process and in order to overcome the hump over the instrument cluster, the centerstage was added. before, it imaged well from the driver's side but the passenger side was so-so. now it's a significant improvement as both sides are balanced. jay (frmdrkside) has one of the best ears and has trained with IASCA. so, while i understand what you guys are talking about, you really shouldn't be judging a vehicle until you've sat in it and listened. end rant. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I understand. I would praise a company if I had ties w/ them.

I personally would highly suggest NOT using the upstage kit. IMO, it's like putting a speaker in front you when you already have headphones on. and if anything, they are a band-aid. Another reason why I don't recommend it, is because I don't give a shit about what my passengers hear. The driver seat is the sweet spot.
