Hi new to forum don't know how to use the search in the data base so I figured I'll ask.I haven't had beats in almost 2 years and miss it so just in just bought a 2009 nissan rouge and need something nice it's all stock just put in a double din pioneer . I'm looking for a ver nice set up that sounds better then my last my last everyone loved it was 1 18" solo x running off 2500.1 kicker amp I think zx I 2500 kinetic battery n red top in front 0 gauge wire and massive interior speakers I want a better system this time I was thinking 2 18" night shades. I looked into high output altornator I found a 320 amp from DC for 700$ I need suggestions for subs amps and interiors battery's everything just for daily music rap and hip hop thanks guys I appreciate it and can't wait to be beating again!

The Z4's are what I'm getting next. I have an SA8V2 and X10. I was happy with both setups, but everyone wants more eventually. A pair of refurbished Z4 18's are $914 total (direct from Sundown). I'm getting a pair of Z4 12's and a DC 5k amp after I upgrade my alternator. Just make sure you have enough power to push these subs. The nightshades and Z4's can take a lot. I know my X 10 laughs at the amount of power I'm giving it

Why so much from ssa they are 659$? Do you know anything about the team series? I want the best system I can get you know I rather go hard then go home
Just so you know, if you're not looking to get into a big battery bank or dual alternator setup (ie. keeping to around 2500W power) the extra money you'll spend for 4" coil woofers or Nightshades is pointless. You're losing efficiency for the sake of being able to throw power into them that you don't have.

If you like the Sundown lineup, I'd say go for some Z's. I think in and 18" the V3 is more than adequate for you, but if you like the looks of the new parts go with the V4. Z's will very likely go harder on music than the Nighshades on 1200-1500W each.

About your alternator. You should really check out Singer alts. Owned by Mike singer. For real they are some of the best alts, with an awesome price, and amazing customer service. No offence, but 720.00$ for the alt seems pricey. DC power is also slow. Maybe your cars some weird alt model, but get a quote from him.

I plan on getting at least one battery. And I will definitely look into his altornator s thanks
One battery would not be anywhere near sufficient for 2 Nightshades. You're looking at 5,000 Watts of RMS power minimum.

Say you're going to run 5,000 Watts RMS. That's roughly 500 Amps. Your alt is 320, so plan on having 250ish available to the amps. That's then 3 additional 100Ah batteries minimum (Or more smaller batteries). Just know you have a pricey and roomy upgrade ahead.

EDIT: I would also advise checking with Singer. I am ordering one for my truck next week hopefully.

Try the largest alt you can fit before wasting money on batteries. One under the hood is always a good thing though. I run close to 6000 rms and I could pull out my two 67ah batteries in the back and be fine. The 500 amp draw mentioned is worse case and you will never see that daily. I don't drop under 14.1v full tilt, that's never going to touch the batteries, all they do is kill gas mileage. I've been thinking of pulling them out but they actually are part of the install.
