Wiring W7's Ohm Loads

I WANT TO RUN 2 10w7 and since they are 3 ohm.. should i bridge to a 1000 watt mono or do seperate amps .. will the ohm load drop to 1.5 and i will need a amp that goes that low?

wired i paralell they will equal a 1.5ohm load thus common sense would dictate that you would require an amp that could handle such a load

yeah, if you have a 1.5 ohm load, you need an amp that makes the power you want at 1.5 ohms... did you really need to ask that?

in reading the specifications of said amp did it say that it was 1 ohm stable?

since they are going to be 1.5 ohms, and amps are rated at 1, i would look for something a little higher than 1000@1 ohm... and w7s can take more power, so i would look for 1200-1500 at 1 ohm

Get a 1000/1. It was made for going down to 1.5 ohm and putting out its rated power.
