Wiring Question

I just got a JVS KD-LX111 and im installing it in my car. I bought a wire harness and all the wires go together with eachother but im a little confused on the car light one.

A wire comes out of the unit that is orange with a white stripe, it says to connect it to the car light control switch. Where is that?

Shoudl I connect it to the switch or should I connect it to one of the wire harness wires. There are 2 that arent in use the orange one labeled illumination/dash light and a orange/black stripe one labaled dimmer ground, should I run it to one of these?

you dont have to connect illumination, most hu's dont need them anyway

if it doesnt turn on with it unconnected just connect to the red wire (12v accessory)

i'd put mine on the accessory wire too - that way it stays the brightest all the time
