Let's see here

Ground- Just a ground to bare metal that is grounded to the chassis

power - 12v constant from where ever you get your power

acc- to the pos wire on the lights

Then you can ground the wires for the lights themselves. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

so just get some wire for those..?? not with the neons.. if i get my power from my battery do i have to run a wire to my battery?

Yes, you'll need some wire (16 or 18 gage is ok for neons). You should also get some crimp terminals that fit the prongs on the switch, and a ring terminal for attaching the ground wire under a screw somewhere.

A common spot to get power is to tap into the cig lighter power wire, if your car has one. Or find a spot in your car's fuse panel that's hot with the ignition key is on or in accessory. Please put an inline fuse holder and a 1 amp fuse in the power wire for protection. Neons don't take much current and those small wires should be on a fuse.

Your local Radio Shack should be able to hook you up with the stuff you need.

thank u for ur input //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif so can i tap in the wire on the cig litter for the power part?

It would be a lot easier to figure out the right size fuse, run power off the batt to a distro, and run the neons off it.

Its cleaner than having a bunch of splices, and a lot more flexible...

1)You could put one switch before the distro, so on.. turns all of them on at once.

2)You could put a switch on each wire and make a control panel, one light for one switch.

3) Both of these, a main on off, and a switch on each neon, that way you can leave them powered off or on, and have light to light control. This would also be nice to save a battery... Say you have a switch, and your getting out of your car and accidentally throw the switch... this would prevent that.

When I put my fan in I ran it straight off the battery with 10 guage, blade style fuse, because I had it and the connections. Its grounded with the amp. There have been 0 problems with my installation so far.

If you were wiring a bunch of neons you need to run a ground from each one to the chassis, you might even look into a ground block.
