wiring multiple speakers

ok so all my mids and highs are 8 ohm. say i kept wiring them like this, but more than 4 (in the diagram)....

ok never mind if i wire 8 up like that, itll make a 1 ohm load.

what would mids sound like if i got a 1 ohm stable 1 ch. amp for all 8? like 800w rms @ 1 ohm, and each of those mids would get 100w.

The12volt.com has an automatic calculator, just input the number of speakers and the individual impedances...

It'd sound horrendously bad, but you seem to have a preoccupation for doing it anyway...

So basically if I hooked both left and right door speakers to 1 channel on a 2 channel amp I've got laying around, it would give me an idea of what a mono amp would sound like if I used one? (Being as I'm using 1 channel for both sides?)

I've never understood the whole 8 speaker thing, but hey, whatever floats your boat, good luck. And yes, if you hooked them all up to 1 chan. of a 2 ch. amp without bridging it you get a mono signal.

ok i tried it and it does sound like *** so i found the 2 channel amps im gonna get...

think the MA HK 2 ch amps can handle 1.6 ohm (theyre rated @ 2 ohm stable) the way the speakers are gonna be wired makes a 1.6 ohm load for each channel.
