I just bought this amp

AUDIOPIPE AP1800D 1800W MONO Car Audio Power Amplifier - eBay (item 390221081207 end time Oct-21-10 15:22:19 PDT)

and this sub

Alpine SWR-1542D (swr1542d) - 15" Subwoofers - Sonic Electronix

How would i wire that for 4 ohms? diagram or something please, im confused since its dual voice coil

First off if you are getting just one you can not wire it to 4 ohms only a single 2 ohm can be or 2 4 ohms. Second, google works wonders, as does the search at the top of the forum. anyway you can not wire 1 4ohm sub to 4 ohms you would need two of those but you can however wire 1 2 ohm sub to four ohms by wiring the voices coils in series then the sub and amplifier in parallel so if you want 4 ohms buy the 2 ohm woofer
