wiring help!!!!!!!!!

not su what forum this should be in but imma put it here.....if i have 2 10" RF P1's that are 8 ohm load each.....if i wire each str8 to their own terminal on my box then take each sub str8 to its own channel on my 2 channel amp what load is this?

so if i wanted it to be a 4ohm load i would have to do this:

wire the pos together...wire the negs together and bridge the 2 channels right?

thats the amp i have.....so with 2 subs bridged to 4ohms i would get ~160w per sub?

i have the older P1's....the red a black ones....they are 8ohm subs.

so have i dont any damage by having them wired at 8 ohms?...any clue how many watss theyve been gettin?....im more or less a noob at this wiring stuff so thats y im sounding a lil remedial.

you haven't caused any problems....and they were getting very little power.

you can "assume" they were getting half the load of the 4ohm rating.

So roughly 80watts per sub.

Resistance divides...
