120 amp for the Hifonics TXI 7508

30 amp for the 4008

Total = 150 amp

Which is more than you can run thru 4 gauge, so you'll need a 2 or 0 gauge input cable.

I told you to look into class D amps for subs. They would use less power for the same watts out.

Will do. Im looking at amps right now. Do they make a class D small enough for my co-ax's - i want 100 RMS per channel

Yes, but not in your price range. I think your fine with the 4008 for the COMPONENTS, but I suggest you find a class D for the subs, that's where the real energy hog is.

You can go from 120 amps draw down to 60 amps or less by finding a class D amp for the subs.

I would take the Hifonics 4008 for the COMPONENTS over that one.. Don't get co-axis.

for subs maybe - its not a class D but its smaller than the 1500W so i figure it wont pull as much. I really think that Kenwood will blow my subs sky high and then ill have a great amp with no subs

I posted links for 2 different kenwoods. That link is for a smaller 500 watt kenwood. You can turn down the gain on any amp to reduce it's output. You said you wanted to upgrade subs in the future, so having a big amp is okay.

Another reason to go for a class D is it is less strain on your electrical system.

You have plenty of time to research your gear before you buy, since you don't even have the car yet.
