how do wire the Type R's to 1 ohm its dual 4 and how do bridge the subs to the JL 1000/1 amp?

run them all parallel. Put all the positives together and all the negatives together. 1 dual 4 wired in parallel gives you 2 ohms. You have 2 dual 4's, so after you have wired them seperately you have "a dual 2 ohm subwoofer" With this, you hook the positives together, and the negatives together, giving you a final resistance of 1 ohm.

Did you not understand the picture? It's got to be the easiest thing to understand...

Connect all positive wires together and all negative wires together. Hook it up to the positive and negative terminals on the amp.

your R's should have come with jumpers for the voice coils. the jumpers emiminate the need to run a wire to connect both ( + ) on one woofer.

run a wire from one ( + ) on one woofer to the ( + ) on the other woofer and then run another wire from that terminal to the amp.

same for the neg.
