What would be the best way to wire 2 4ohm dvc 12inch subs to a rockfordfosgate 550S .....any help would be greatly appreciated.......

what is the specs on the amp

i believe its a 2 channel and only 2 ohm stable..with subs u got its prolly gonna have to be run at 8 ohms a piece and split to 4 ....it just sounds to me like a bad sub amp match...if im correct on the amp

ya u gotta run them at 8 each...cuz its not 1 ohm stable so ...either u buy a new amp or new subs...or sub at 2 ohms

With two 4-ohm DVC subs, you can wire them to 2-ohms each, and hook each one up to a seperate channel. Or wire each to 2 ohms, and series them for a single 4-ohm load, and bridge the amp. Or wire each one to 8 ohms, and parallel them for a 4-ohm load. Exact same result either way...
