wiring amp/sub help

i have jl w7 and jl 500/1 to run the subs..i tried installing them today and i was having trouble with the amp...there is no sound coming out of the sub...if anyone could please help me with a wiring diagram or anything to help me i would really appreciate it..thanks

What headunit? Is the subwoofer output enabled in the headunit? Is the subwoofer volume turned up in the headunit?

that might be your problem. or you can also check the gains and lpf

the subwoofer outputs are enabled...but normally if the gain in on a little the sub would kick a little...but it doesnt even move..as for the lpf i need to check that..thanks..
