Hey everyone! I recently installed a Kenwood kdc-bt555u stereo in my car. I used to mod guitar amplifiers, so it was pretty easy to do the wiring myself. Since my car has a double din hole in the dash, I decided to install a clock like this in the unused slot:

I was thinking about wiring it in parallel with the head unit, connecting the power for the clock wire to the continuous power (red wire on the harness), ground-obviously to the ground, and the lights to the unused dimmer wire on the harness (it was used by the stock stereo). Should it be fine? The rest of the sound system in the car is stock. The car is a 2006 Honda Civic.
