wiring 6x9's to amp help

ok i just got my amp its a soundstream xta 360.2 which runs 2 channels at 90rms @ 4 ohms. i also have two infinity kappa 6x9's that are 2ohm speakers. i want to use the amp to power the speakers. now correct me if im wrong but in order for me to have the amp running at 4ohms i would have to series wire the speakers. this is what im kind of confused about because there is a + and - for each channel on the amp. im guessing what you do is

take the - from channel(1) of the amp to the - of speaker(1),

then run a wire from the + of speaker(1) to the - of speaker(2).

then run a wire from the + of speaker(2) to the + of channel(2) of the amp.

i hope this isnt too confusing but i have no pictures. also both speakers come with crossovers so i would be wiring the crossovers together right?

anyways please let me know if this is the right way to do it because i would hate to screw something up after spending the money on this stuff

thanks in advance!!
