Wiring 6 speakers to a 4 speaker radio

Well, I am wondering what is the best way to hook up a head unit with only 4 outputs to my truck with 6 speakers. Should I connect the mid and rear speakers together? Or should I connect the fronts and mids together? Or is there a proper way to do this?

The speaker in question are 4x6's for the front and 6.5's for the mid and rear speakers.

Thanks in advance......Mike

I would have serious reservations about running a headunit at 2ohm (assuming the speakers are 4ohm each and you wired two of them in parallel). And you will get almost no power out of at 8ohm (if you wired them in series).

IMO you would be better off just ditching a pair of speakers. Either ditch the rears or ditch the 4x6 and run 6.5" co-axials for upfront.

How am I able to determine if my HU is at all able to be bridged? The head unit in question is an Alpine Cda-9815.

..Mike
