Wire to speaker?

Should i run 8 or 12 awg wire from my amp to subs? (JBL 1200.1, Type R's) will there be alot of difference? like less SQ n SPL or worse signal using 12awg?

12 AWG should be sufficient. That is a common factor in many subwoofer installs. Wire will not effect SQ or SPL so there are no concerns there..

the bigger the wire the easier it is for the sound to pass through
