Power and Amplified Speaker wire question

Getting ready to finish my trucks install tomorrow.

My dilemma. I have my power wire running down the drivers side of the vehicle. I have nine wire speed wire that will be running from my amp back up to behind my head unit to power my door speakers. I will be running my RCAs on the passenger side. Should I run the speed wire on the drivers or passengers side? My mind is saying drivers side.

And you (if you’re not a Ai BOT), for the sake of everyone in this forum, may want to quit posting, Your information is consistently off topic and incorrect when on topic. Providing bad info when dealing with some of this can be dangerous and may cause someone to blow something up or start a fire. Just stop.

As a general rule, RCA's and speaker wire should be twisted pair cable. If you must cross paths with your power wire, do it at a 90 degree angles (so across, not parallel with). Speaker wire and RCA’s can run parallel just fine, it’s the interaction between power and signal wire that can be problematic.

What amplifier(s) are you using? What speakers? Is this your main battery or is it a 2nd battery? If it is a 2nd, how are you wired up? What if...

That’s the little single 6.5 inch enclosure. The Savard did just as well as the RDS. These subs do well in ported or 6th orders but not as well...

With 6500 rms.. you are still going to need some battery bank and/or supply for that demand
