Certain comp sets will sound better than others in that kind of install. It's a common install, and what I do myself.

Find a budget, and start researching. As for DIY, well, there's a place for those kind of answers. http://www.diymobileaudio.com

If you're willing to run active, then DIY is probably the best way to go. If you run passive, go with a prepackaged set.
