i have a reg cab. Sierra and i wanna get a comp. set i want to put the midrange in the door and the tweeter on the a-pillar will it work well?

and how about a DIY comp set what do you guys recommend.

I have the comps in my car running passive right now with the mid in the door and the tweet in the A-pillar and it sounds quite nice that way.

Certain comp sets will sound better than others in that kind of install. It's a common install, and what I do myself.

Find a budget, and start researching. As for DIY, well, there's a place for those kind of answers. http://www.diymobileaudio.com

If you're willing to run active, then DIY is probably the best way to go. If you run passive, go with a prepackaged set.
