Will this sub/amp combo work?

So I currently have a polk dxi 124 (dual 4 ohm). It is 360w RMS. Would using an amp that is 500w RMS @ 2 ohm overpower it?

That's fine, just set it up correctly so you're not pushing the amp past it's limits.

If the signal is clean, you should be fine
