will this size speaker work?

I have a 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier coupe. I am replacing all 4 speakers and my receiver. In the rear are 2 6x9"s and in the front door 2 4x6"s. Sony is selling a speaker bundle with the receiver, 2 6x9"s and 2 6.5"s.

I was wondering if the 6.5"s would be able to fit where the 4x6"s are? They look similar in size, so would there be any problem mounting them there?

You can do it with cutting the sheet metal. I fit 6.5s into a 5.25" speaker hole, and that was a ***** all in istelf

Speaker adapters are available for that specific vehicle and speaker size.
