Will this install kit be efficient enough for my set-up?

What install kit would be better for me?

I was wondering if this install kit will be efficient enough for my set-up?

The kits:

8 Gauge Amplifier Installation Kit

* 20 Feet 8 gauge Blue Kolossus Fleks Power Wire* 3 Feet 8 gauge Black Kolossus Fleks Ground Wire

* One waterproof inline fuse holder with 50A fuse

* One 5 Meter Klarity Kable Blue OFC RCA Cable with built in turn on lead

* 20 Feet Blue Klear Kable OFC 12 gauge speaker wire

* 2 gold plated 8 gauge ring terminals, 2 gold plated 8 gauge spade terminals

* grommets, wire loom and wire ties
or

4 gauge amplifier installation kit

* 18 Feet 4 Gauge Metallic Blue KLMX Power Wire* 3 Feet 4 Gauge Silver Pearl KLMX Ground Wire

* One inline fuse holder with 80A AGU Fuse

* One 5 Meter Blue eKo RCA Cable with Built in Turn On lead

* 10 Feet BLUE Klear Kable OFC 16 Gauge Speaker Wire

* 2 Gold Plated 4 Gauge Ring Terminals, 2 Gold Plated 4 Gauge Spade Terminals

* Wire ties
I know the first one is a 8awg but it is OFC wire(Kolossus Fleks) and Klarity RCA cables and 12awg speaker wire which are better wires.

The second one is 4awg but it is CCA(KLMX) wire and eKo RCA cables.

Which kit would I be better off with?

Both of these are right in my budget for a install kit.

I would like to purchase one of the higher end kits but they are like double the price.

Also I feel that I don't need to buy a real high dollar kit for my budget install.

Set-up:

Headunit- Kenwood KDC-MP145

Subwoofer- 1 10" RE SRi-D2 (300w RMS)

Amp- Crunch PZT1100.2 (550x1 @ 4ohm RMS)

Enclosure- 1ft^3 @ 33hz (Ram_Designs)

i would run the 4ga kit and and you got the extra money i would get a 0ga kit with a distribution block and run 4ga from that to the amp just incase you ever upgrade you already have the 0ga there and ran

and also the amp has 4ga inputs so i wouldnt run anything less than 4ga
The product info says:

8-gauge power and ground wiring is required for installation.
Where did you see 4ga? jw.

I dont plan on upgrading anytime soon.

This is just my daily driver.

i also checked the spec on the amp and they also said a 4ga max input....I would get the 4ga kit just to be safe

I think we are looking at different amps. Check my original most I put a link to the Amp. The dimensions are different that you listed.

8 gauge is probably the MINIMUM they recommend. I would definitely go with the 4 gauge even if it is the CCA. That 4 gauge is rated for up to 80A while that 8 gauge is only rated at 50A. That amp has two 25A fuses, so that 8 gauge would definitely be borderline too small. Go with the 4 gauge kit.

Well I ordered the KLMX-4 awg kit. I review it compared to my fosgate and stinger 4awg wire I have in my truck now.

Thanks for all the help guys!

My budget build in my Olds is coming along nicely.
