hey

i have 2 6x9s in the back of my car and i just put in some home speakers in the back that i spliced off of one of the 6x9s. i was wondering if i should run another wires from the other 6x9 to the box of home speakers to equalize the sound or will that like short the system or what would it do if anything

you'll probably blow your head units amp, because what you just did was lower the ohm load down to 2 ohms, which no head units are stable at.
True 'dat. What you did was wire two sets of speakers in parallel. Many external amps can handle 2-ohm loads, but your head unit won't last too long the way you've got the speakers wired.
