1. It wont be made till we run completely out of gas.

A new ford focus only gets 33 mpg. Same for a chevy aveo. But a 1990 VW jetta gets 39mpg. These are all highway ratings. Even the new vw are getting less than 30. It makes me wonder why fuel economy has gone down in the last 20 years instead of up. I know the vehicles these days have more power than then, but in a time of high fuel prices, I would think making an economy car would mean better mileage than a 15-20 year old car.
