PS. i've never had any physics classes. just common knowlege.
Yes it is common and basic. Its just that you have to examine the problem correctly. I honestly didn't sit long enough on the question to realize my error, but quickly understood it when corrected.

it quite simple....like stated by squeak and joe...then wheels are not driven so they affect flying in no shape or form. the thrust and foward movement is created by the engines (jet) pushing against atmosphere to propel the plane foward. so no matter what the wheels are doing if there is enough thrust then the plane will move foward and eventually take off

Like you said we don't all think alike //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I knew the wheels don't spin its not a vehicle with a drive line, but I did not think there would be enough air force if the conveyor did work to create lift.

correct. unless they forget to let off the brake. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I really want to see this treadmill though. A large treadmill with the ability to move at these speeds and hold this plane will be interesting. I hope Kari has massive wardrobe malfunctions as well. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

mmmmm. boobies

Does it involve a huge treadmill?
what a retarded myth to test. Thats like wanting to test the myth that if you hold an expression on your face for a long time it will freeze that way permanently.
Absolutely not.

It was nicknamed the Joint Strike Fighter and it was a competition between Boeing and Lockheed Martin.

Lockheed Martin's fighter won and it is called the F-35. If you are into planes, fighters, or even just military crap, it's a real interesting read. Here's a link to a little bit of info about it.

Even if they dont mess it up, the plane will NOT take off. It works off of LIFT. If air isnt being rushed under the wings at speed, it doesnt matter how fast its tires are turning. It needs that rush of air to pull itself up off the ground.
