Also, mixing batteries is not recommended because batteries usually float at different charges. This will be caused by different make up (meaning SLA and AGM, etc) and different age. You're supposed to use the exact same battery and the exact same age of battery so that the float charge will be as close as possible. If they are not very close, they will continually discharge to each other trying to reach the same level of charge. Depending on the difference, the amount of life will either be reduced by a lot or very little. Consider yourself informed.

I'm sorry, but you aren't being very intelligent over this. You need to read over basic electric principles.
Attempting to pull 150+ amps (2000 watts off of 12-13 volts) through 5 gauge wire is going to fry the wire. It will blow the fuses (if you have any), melt the wires, and possibly cause a fire in the car.

Trust me when I say take the **** time.

Also, Eclipse subs are fairly nice, I'd much rather have one of them than yours. Kicker subs do not sound good. The prefab kicker ported box is NOT custom. It's a pos that needs to be burned. I don't care that your in high school, while I was in high school, two jobs, a girlfriend, and more AP classes than I could count, family troubles, I managed time to put together an IB setup involving cutting up the rear of my trunk. I know how it is, you have time, you're just lazy and spend the time on a forum instead of doing it when you can. Then you get busy and use it as an excuse.
